A 'LONGQUAN' CELADON 'BOYS' BOWL, the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, freely carved and combed to the interior with three boys divided by floral sprays, the exterior walls incised with radiating lines above the foot ring, covered overall in an olive-green glaze except the foot pad and the recessed base which are partly unglazed, Jincun kiln, Northern Song dynasty (960-1127), diameter c. 19.5 cm.
