A LEMON-YELLOW-GLAZED 'DRAGON' BOWL, delicately incised around the exterior with two five-clawed dragons striding in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls above turbulent waves, the interior covered with a turquoise glaze, Guangxu six-character mark and of the period (1875-1908), diameter c. 16.5 cm.
PROVENANCE:
From a Swedish private collection. Purchased in Vienna, Austria, during the 1940's.
No repairs found with UV-light. Minor loss of glaze at the rim. Minor wear and firing defects. Please contact elisabet.fellbom@auktionsverket.se for more information.
