A FINE AND RARE FLAMBÉ-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE, potted with a compressed globular body raised on a splayed foot ring and rising to a tall and slender neck, covered overall with a thick glaze of crushed raspberry tone with streaks of purple thinning to a mushroom on the mouth rim, the interior covered with a pale-blue and purple-streaked glaze, the base is covered with a straw-coloured glaze, Qianlong incised seal mark and of the period (1736-1795), height c. 23 cm.
No repairs found with UV-light. Minor wear and firing defects. Minor glaze flake, c. 0.1-0.2 cm. Please contact elisabet.fellbom@auktionsverket.se for more information.
