Somewhat worn contemporary calf with gilt spines with raised bands and red labels, all edges sprinkled red. Superficial worming on front boards of volumes I and II. Some minor stains.3 volumes.

French translation by J. P. Bernard. The English original, ´The Sacred and Profane History of the World...´, was published in 1728.
