8vo. 157 x 95 mm. (8), 496, (56) pp. Well-preserved contemporar full calf with richly gilt spine with red label and sprinkled edges. Small hole in front board, at head of spine. Minor stains, recurring inkstain in lower corner, recurring faint damp. Worming in top margin pp. 293-98, with minimal loss of print in heading. Owner´s siugnature of L. Arnell on title.
Warmholtz 3796, doesn´t mention this variety. This account of the 30-years´ war was originally published in 1633, later in many pirated editions and translations and with varying titles. The nearest corresponding seems to be the 1634 edition printed in Rouen.
