Engraved frontispiece portrait (some foxing), 184 partly folding engraved maps and plates (all according to plate index, 1 with two plates on the same, 1 map mended, 16 plates and maps partly foxed or spotted, text partly discoloured from plates or vignettes), engraved or woodcut vignettes.
Later (late 19th century) brown full calf, somewhat worn, some small cracks or mended cracks in the joints, gold- and blindtooled borders, gilt edges of covers, gilt inner borders, gilt spines in five compartments, all edges gilt. Fredrik Vult v. Steijerns gilt supraexlibris on inside of upper covers. 1 leaf with tear in upper margin. Minor foxing. 6 volumes.
