Lacks the 1903 supplement as usual. The second volume was planned to consist of two parts, but only one was published.
Axel Key (1832-1901), Swedish pathologist.
Gustaf Retzius (1842-1919), Swedish naturalist, specializing in anatomy and histology. The collaboration with Key was his first major published work. It was awarded a price from l´Institut de France, and is considered a milestone in neurology.
