Contemporary limp vellum, somewhat soiled, spine with manuscript title, some damages to inner doublures, partly loose in the hinges, marbled edges. A few leaves with marginal wearing. Some minor browning or foxing.

The earliest work of Genga, first published in 1672. According to Garrison-Morton "the first book devoted entirely to surgical anatomy". The present second edition has been revised and expanded .
