Small 4:o. (Probably missing title page with English and Italian text), 99 coloured engraved plates (of 100, lacks plate 43, about 10 defective, mended, 3 with some loss of picture, about 5 text pages mended in the margins, some foxing and spotting, about 15 leaves harder in lower margin).
Contemporary brown mottled calf, worn, later inner doublures and endpapers, faded gilt spine in six compartments, some damage at head, marbled edges. Signatures on verso of title.
