A Reticulated Jade Parfumier with Stopper

A RETICULATED AND CYLINDRICAL SPINACH-GREEN JADE PARFUMIER WITH STOPPER, carved in openwork and high relief with cranes and deer in a continuous scene of pine, bamboo, peaches and lingzhi mushrooms, growing amidst rockwork in a mountainous landscape with pavilions and a waterfall, the stopper with a key-fret border, later European hard-stone stand, 18/19th century, height of the parfumier c. 19.5 cm


PROVENANCE:
Purchased by the Swedish Chief Lighthouse Engineer, Uno Grönvall (1864-1921), who visited China and Japan in 1912.
