A SMALL DISH AND A PAIR OF PLATES, the dish executed c. 1775 for the Portuguese market, enamelled and gilt with the arms of Joaquim Inácio da Cruz Sobral and the motto ´NOMEN HONOR QUE MEIS´, the rim with green enamel swags, the plates decorated with enamel colours and underglaze blue, depicting a parrot perched on a peony branch, Qianlong period (1736-1795), diameter c. 16-22.5 cm
