A RITUAL BRONZE WINE VESSEL 'GU', the slender vessel is cast to the mid-section and lower body with taotie masks on a dense leiwen ground, separated by scored vertical flanges. The upper section is decorated with four stylised cicada blades rising upwards towards the flaring neck, Ming dynasty (1368-1644), height c. 30.5 cm
