Small folio (about 295x210 mm.). Engraved title (partly loose), 51 engraved portrait plates (of 52, one missing [plate 13], a few marginal tears, one larger, 2 with marginal damages, 3 with marginal scribbling, some minor foxing and staining). BOUND AFTER:

URSINUS, FULVI. Imagines et elogia virorim illustrium et eruditorum ex antiquis lapidibus et nomismatibus expressa. Cum annotationibus ex bibliotheca Fulvi Ursini. No place, 1570.
Small folio (about 295x210 mm.). Engraved title (spotted, some worming, some later colouring, old signature in upper margin), 36 (of 56, only plates, all text missing) engraved plates (some worming, 5 dampstained, some spotting). See Edit16 CNCE 37885.
Contemporary vellum, very worn and spotted, loose in the hinges, some scribbling on plates. Old signatures on inside of covers.

The first work is second edition, the first printed by Lafreri 1569.
The title of the second work without Lafreris name as printer (as on Edit 16 CNCE 37885).
Sold as a collection of plates, not subject to return.
