Near contemporary brown morocco, gilt borders, gilt inner dentelles, somewhat faded gilt spine in six compartments, gilt edges. Some minor foxing. Bookplates of Alexander Eraut and Georg Schackne. First edtion.

Posthumously published in 1836. Valuable as the first nineteenth-century geographical and archaeological account of the region, and also an interesting narrative of travel.
