Large 4to (c. 281 x 229 mm.). (4), v-xi, (1), 1- 161, (3, last blank) pp. 13 tipped-in full-page colour plates mounted on heavy brown paper, with lettered tissue-guards. Fourteen black and white drawings. Publisher´s white buckram over boards, front cover and spine pictorially stamped and lettered in gilt (Gryphon and Mock-Turtle in gilt to front board), pictorial end papers (browned), top edge gilt, otherwise uncut.
Edition DeLuxe limited to 1130 numbered copies (this copy being number 454).

Unusually, Rackham did not sign this limited edition, as he was out of the country while it was in preparation.
