Original decorated cloth binding, worn and rubbed, dampstain to upper cover, covers slightly warped, faded and damaged spine, split to inner hinge. Edition published in 50 copies, this is number 3 of 25 copies on paper "Auvergne a la cuve". Dedication on colophon page from the author to O. Nordquist, dated Pekin, August, 24, 1927.
Albert Nachbaur (1879-1933) was an architect dedicated to Art nouveau, he also performed as "Max-Nar" at Montmartre singing satirical songs. After World War I he moved to China and lived the rest of his life in Peking.
