CHINA, JAPAN & EAST INDIES (3). CHATELAIN, HENRI ABRAHAM. Habillemens d´Hommes & de Femmes de Diverses Provinces de la Chine avec un des plus beaux Monumens de ce Pais-La. Amsterdam (Chatelain) 1719.
Hand-coloured (later colouring) engraved plate, view of a bridge in Xensi Province in a decorative border, surrounded by eleven vignettes showing people from various provinces of China. C. 380x440 mm. Small repair to centrefold on verso, some soiling to margins.

D:O. Succession des Empereurs du Japon avec une Description de Meurtre de l´Empereur Cubo et la Reception des Ambassadeurs Hollandois.Amsterdam (Chatelain) 1705.
Hand-coloured (later colouring) engraved plate, containing a small map of Japan, titled "Carte du Japon", and two larger engravings derived from Montanus (the murder of Emperor Cubo in a rebellion in 1564 and the arrival of Dutch Ambassadors in Japan 1644). The views are engraved in decorative borders with French text descriptions flanking the map. C. 390x440 mm. Small repair to centrefold on verso, some soiling to margins.

Hand-coloured (later colouring) engraved plate, with four scenic views of Dutch possessions in the East Indies, including Batavia (Jakarta), Amboina, Ternate and Solor, and fort plans and descriptive French text.
C. 370x435 mm. Small repair to centrefold on verso, some soiling to margins.
