8vo (226x140 mm). 1 hand-coloured aquatinta engraved frontispiece, 1 hand-coloured aquatinta engraved title, 72 hand-coloured aquatinta engraved plates Thomas Rowlandson (complete, slight soiling or foxing, mostly marginal, text with 1 leaf creased, minor foxing).
Two gilt decorated brown-red morocco bindings (20th century), slight wear, inner gilt dentelles, gilt bordures, richly gilt spines with gilt-lettered titles, gilt upper edges, otherwise untrimmed. Red leather edged cloth slipcase. 2 volumes in a slipcase.
