Entirely uncut copy, bound in later brown leather, somewhat worn, slightly faded spine, small damage at head. Some minor foxing. In a new linen case.

With a printed dedication to Joseph Banks. The more than 200 alphabets are arranged in alphabetical order on the left-hand pages of the book, and their rendering are given opposite.
