4:o (about 253x195 mm.). ((2), (3), IV-X, (301)-666, (i)-cclxxxii, (28, lacks last blank leaf) pp. 21 engraved plates, of which one folding (all, minor foxing).
Contemporary brown calf, worn, bumped corners, cracks in the joints, gilt spine in six compartments, damages at head and foot. One leaf loose. From about pp. cclxxix to the end wormholes in inner margin and loss of some letters, otherwise som minor wormholes. Minor foxing.

The first part of this volume, with the subtitle "De l´imprimerie", contains on pp. 546-600 "Tartare Mancheou" and "Tibetan ou Boutan" with two plates "Alphabet des tartares mouantcheoux" and "Alphabet du Thibet ou Boutan", and on pp. 625-666 "Chinois" with two plates "Clefs chinoises (with explanation on pp. 637 ff.).
