Engraved map with figurative cartouche including sphinx, monkey and a sea monster, ships and sea beasts in colours. About 360x490 mm. Latin edition with Latin text on verso. Centrefold repaired, map has been flattened, some notes in pencil to margin, lower and upper margin with some soiling.
Van den Broecke 160 (1571L45). Early edition with the 8 names in the Polar areas.
