BINDING. "Considerazioni pratiche ed istruttive per li ecclesiastici da potersi opportunamente fare da loro in tempo che si trovano ritirati a fare gli esercizj spirituali di S. Ignazio. O' per andarsi promovendo al sacerdozio, fe cherici, ò per maggiormente perfezionarsi in esso, fe già sacerdoti, a vari del lor Ordine più volte proposte ed ora in grazia di tutti essi date in luce, e dedicate.

Manuscript in Italian, c. 1750, 4to (about 315x220 mm.). Title (1 leaf, verso blank), Introduzione I-VIII (4 leaves, last page blank), text. pp. 1-404, Indici generali (42 pp. on 21 leaves). Undated, but most probably mid-18th century.
Fine contemporary marbled paper binding (of Remonidini-paper, 1750), somewhat worn, partly damaged spine, uncut, some foxing and spotting, some mended tears. Some textual corrections or addenda, often on small pasted labels in text. On verso of title mounted letter, 1 page and adress page, from Antonio Mazzaziri, dated Roma 18 Nov. 1749, to Giacomo Bonarotto in Bologna (tear).

A text on spiritual exercises emanating from Ignazio Loyola and the Jesuits, intended for priests and students of theology.
The letter concerns printing permission for the manuscript.
