Small 4:o (about 190x155 mm.). (16, including engraved title), 1-510, (14) pp. Engraved frontispiece (browned), engraved fullpage portrait on p. 32, 29 engraved plates (all, plate I-XXVIII with text on verso, minor foxing).
Near contemporary half vellum, marbled boards, spine with manuscript title, dark blue edges, later inner doublures and endpapers. Some crack in upper hinge. Closer cut in lower margin. Some browning or foxing. Signature on first endpaper Wernberger, bookplate of Johan Widmark.

The plates I-XXVIII with anatomical engravings are taken from Vesalius. The portrait lacks as often.
