Contemporary vellum, somewhat worn and soiled, black edges, lacks last endpaper. 1 leaf with tear. Some foxing, a few marginal annotations.
Horapollo (from Horus Apollo, Greek: ??ap?????) is the supposed author of a treatise, titled Hieroglyphica, Egyptian hieroglyphs, extant in a Greek translation by one Philippus, dating to about the 5th century.
