Large 4to (330x250 mm). Illustrated in colour and black and white by Sudeikin. In colour pochoir wrappers designed by Soudeikin or Remisov, loose as issued.
Wrapper toned, worn and with tears to margins, some paperlosses. Housed in a modern case, worn and with some damages.
One of 5 programs from the legendary Russian emigre variety show directed by Nikita Balieff. He called his company "chauve-souris" (French for "bat") after that one landed on his hat. He formed his comedy troupe on leaving Konstantin Stanislavsky´s Moscow Art Theater. "Chauve-Souris" relocated in Paris during the Russian Revolution and toured successfully through Europe and the United States.
