Description
KEULEN, JOHANNES VAN. Nieuwe wassende graade Paskaart over de geheele Oost-zee nieuwelÿcks opgestelt door Nicolaas de Vries. Amsterdam (G. van Keulen) about 1700.
Hand coloured engraved sea sea chart with figurative cartouche, ship and compass roses, two angels holding the coat-of-arms of Charles XI (Karl XI). About 520x610 mm. Minor tear to lower part of centre fold, some minor spots, small spot and minor to right margin.
Sea chart showing coast of south of Sweden with island of Öland and part of Gotland, Germany with Rügen, Pommern and coast of Poland, Königsberg, and the Baltic countries.
