Contemporary brown mottled calf, worn, gilt borders, on covers the gilt armour of Louis XV of France, gilt inner borders, gilt edges of covers, gilt spine in six compartments with the gilt monogram of the king, some damages at head and foot, redspeckled edges. At foot of spine pasted oval label with text "M 77 1754". Minor foxing. Bookplate of Eivind Hassler.
