Untrimmed in original printed grey wrappers after Altman, partly worn, minor damage to spine and edges. Number in ink on upper wrapper, title and the first free endpaper which also has a small hole.
First edition in Russian by Russian novelist Yuri Olesha. Printed in 5000 copies.
Nathan Isaevich Altman (1889-1970) was a Jewish, Ukrainian and Soviet avant-garde artist, and book illustrator.
