Near contemporary brown full leather, partly worn, gilt border, gilt edges of cover, richly gilt spine in six compartments, partly wormed, minor repairs , speckled edges. Title partly laid down and with mended worming, leaf 2 with mended tear, a few leaves with mostly marginal worming, some marginal dampstaining, minor foxing or spotting. Bookplate of Elof Förberg.

Collijn II:330-332. Second Italian edition, published by Giunta. The first was published in 1561 by the Venetian printer Francesco Bindoni.
