4:o (about 250x212 mm.). (8), (1)-241, (19), 1-32 (wrongly printed 28) pp. 68 engraved plates (all) by Alfred van de Laen.
Contemporary brown half calf, somewhat worn, mended in the joints, gilt spine with red title field. A few brown spots.

Nicolaas Laurens Burmann (1737-1793), Dutch botanist and doctor, son to the famous botanist (and doctor) Johannes Burmann.
