VELLUM PRINTING. (HEURES IMPRIMÉES - HEURES Á L´USAGE DE ROME). Paris (Philippe Pigouchet or Anthione Herard) no date (about 1500-1520).

8:o (about 162x92 mm., textual area 128/130x73/75 mm.). Printed on vellum. (174) ll (not complete, paginated (34, lacks title and leaves signed ee4-8?), i-lxxii, i-lxv, (3) ll., signed 2-7 (lacks title), bb1-8-dd1-8ee1-3 (lacks ee4-8?), a1-8-i1-8, A1-8-H1-8I1-4).
Starts with anatomical man and 12 calendar leaves, on opposing sides nearly 12 fullpage metal cuts, in text also 45 near fullpage metal cuts, of which 3 in colours and gold, 10 1/4 page metal cuts and 20 small metal cuts.
Initials and capitals supplied in gold on red or blue ground. 1 leaf with with cut in outer margin. Some minor spotting.
Near contemporary brown calf, richly gilt covers, rebacked, blank spine in six compartments, all edges gilt. In a new cloth box.
