4to. (290x230 mm). 1 engraved frontispiece portrait of the author (some foxing), 1 large folding engraved map (one red line, probably marking a travel route), 15 engraved plates, of which 5 coloured (all, a few spots, offsetting from plates to text), 6 leaves engraved music.
Contemporary brown full calf, somewhat worn, blindstamped borders, bumped corners, rebacked, gilt spines in six compartments, marbled edges. Minor foxing. Armorial bookplate of Thomas Munro. 2 volumes.

According to Bring two editions were printed the same year, this edition is the later one with the printer´s name on bottom of the title leaves and on the last page of each part.
