Small 4to (240x180 mm). With 1 lithograph frontispiece portrait printed in black of the author, 3 drypoint etchings printed in black and 23 wood-engraved illustrations after drawings printed in black by Picasso. With and additional suite of 1 lithograph and 3 etchings in lithograph wrappers.
Loose as issued in original lithograph wrappers printed in red and black, also by Picasso, glacine wrappers (with tear), uncut, together in original board folder (spine soiled, some spotting to inside of folder) and original decorated slip-case, matching the lithograph covers of the additional suite (slip-case partly soiled and worn). Small label of former owner. Limited edtion, number 22 of 30 (of 170 copies in total) on vergé de Montval signed by the artist in pencil, with the additional suite of 3 etchings and 1 lithograph portrait on Japan in lithograph wrappers.

Provenance: Stefan Schueler (1920-2015), Swedish art book dealer who in 1972 opened / founded the specialized art book shop "Konst-Bibliofilen" in the Old Town, Stockholm, which lasted for 25 years.
