Red morocco with green, black, brown, grey and white inlays in upper cover, showing an oldtimer motor car part of which make up the words motor car to complete the inlaid title, lower cover inlaid in black and white showing the back view profile of a motor car in black inside a white circle, spine with pneumatic tyres in gilt and white (by David Rubie, signed inside front cover). In a fleece-lined morocco-backed box.
This book is bound up from the original 23 parts. This binding was credited with the prize in the "Thomas Harrison Memorial Competion" and was exhibited at the National Book League, London, May 1973.
