Contemporary red full morocco, partly worn and rubbed, boards with blindtooled and gilt borders, inner gilt dentelles, 4 upper boards detached, some joints starting or split, gilt spines in compartments, damages to upper or lower part, all gilt edges, endpapers renewed. 6 vols.

The original "L'Histoire d'Angleterre" was published 1724-27 in 10 volumes. First English edition was published in 1728-31. Here with the rare Acta Regia.
