Description
NEW TESTAMENT IN ARABIC. (Testamentum Novum [4 Evangelia] arabice et latine [studio J. B. Raymundi]. Multis cum fig. Romae, in typographia Medicea, 1591, lacks title).
Folio (328x215 mm.). (Not complete). 139 woodcuts (of about 150) by L. Norsini, called Parasole, after A. Tempesta.
Later (19th century) half vellum, somewhat worn, blank spine. About 10 leves with marginal damages or mendings and some loss of text, throughout with worming in inner margin and sometimes in text with loss of text. Some leaves darkened, some foxing, about 10 leaves dampstained.
