Contemporary brown half calf, somewhat worn, richly gilt spines, red edges. One sheet in vol. III wrongly folded. Minor foxing. Bookplate of Alvina Lindgren. 3 volumes.
First French edition of "Travels in Hungary, with a short account oif Vienna" (London 1707). Translated by André-Samuel-Michel Cantwel, and edited by Théophile Mandar, with a préface by him on pp. 1-lxii in vol. I. Vol. III contains i.a. a "Catalogue des plantes et arbustes rares qui croissent dans les jardins impériaux de Schoenbrun" on pp. 139-148.
