Contemporary brown half leather, slightly worn, spine in compartments and yellow label, minor damage to upper part, speckled edges. Spotted throughout. Signature on first endpaper.

Soulsby 51. Hulth 5. Sixth i.e. the 3rd original edition, dedicated to count Tessin. The edition was completely rewritten by Linnaeus and heavily enlarged. This is also the first illustrated edition.
