TWO EXPORT PLATES, one decorated in grisaille, gilt and underglaze blue with ducks frolicking in a riverside scene before a mountain backdrop, the rim with chrysanthemum and peony sprays, the rim with spear-head motif border, the other enamelled with a rooster standing on rockwork in a flower garden, surrounded by a border of flowers at the rim, Qianlong period (1736-1795), diameter c. 22.5 cm
