A SMALL BLUE/GREEN JUN WARE BOWL, with deep rounded sides, covered to the interior and exterior with a lightly crackled blue/green glaze, a splash of glaze to the recessed base, marked with label "Nationalmuseum 1949 lot 209", Northern Song dynasty (960-1127), diameter c. 8 cm
PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The bowl was purchased by Nydell from the Swedish collector Hans Öström in 1956.
