A LAPIS LAZULI BELT BUCKLE, the buddhist lion carved with its head turned to the left, with bulging eyes below the scrolling eyebrows and ears, holding a ribbon tied to a brocade ball grasped between the clawed feet, swedish 18 carat gould mounting dated 1942, 19th century, length c. 7 cm
