A JUNYAO BOWL, with steep sides rising from a straight foot to a slightly-incurved rim, covered with a dark lavender-blue glaze thinning to a buff colour at the rim, the glaze pooling thickly above the foot, Jin/Yuan dynasty (1115-1368), diameter c. 18.5 cm
PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The bowl was purchased from Sidney Moss, June 1958 in London.
