A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITABHA, with loose-fitting robes elaborately tied at mid-waist with hems of incised lotus and flower decoration, open at the chest revealing a wan symbol, the rounded face with a serene expression with the hair curled in tight knots that surround the usnisa, seated upon an unsealed throne formed as a lotus flower in bloom above a tall foot reticulated with scroll work, Ming dynasty (1368-1644), height c. 29 cm
