From a Swedish private collection, purchased by the present owners grandparents during mid 20th century

NOTE:
Bi Botao was a member of ´The Eight Friends of Zhushan´, a group of porcelain artists mostly active from the 19th century to the 20th century. The last member of the group passed away in the late 1960´s. They were among the best porcelain painters of the Republican period.
