A Pair of 'Battle of Svensksund' Grisaille Cups and Saucers, decorated with the Swedish flag, a confiscated Russian ship and Nike, the goddess of victory, with wings and two wreaths of Laurel leaves, all within a medallion, depicting the Swedish naval victory at the battle of Svensksund 1790, late Qianlong period, 1792-93, diameter of the saucer c. 14 cm

According to tradition, the porcelain was a gift from the Swedish navy officers to vice-admiral Carl Olof Cronstedt (1756-1820).
