A Pair of Blue and White ´Lotus´ Dishes, the shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot and undercut foot ring to an everted rim, decorated in shaded tones of cobalt blue, the interior with a central lotus flower surrounded by three further blossoms, all wreathed by dense curling foliate stems within a double-line border repeated at the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with six lotus borne on a continuous meandering foliate stem, within double lines encircling the rim and foot, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character Xuande mark within double circles, Kangxi period (1662-1722), diameter c. 17.5 cm
