XU LIN LU (1916-2011), ink and colour on paper, Loquat Fruits, inscription and one seal, framed, c. 33 x 33 cm.
NOTE:
Xu began to learn painting and calligraphy as a child, and later became the last student of the famous artist Qi Baishi. The young artist imitated the methods of his teacher before developing his own unique painting style.
