A SMALL 'HARE'S FUR' BOWL, the bowl is covered inside and out with a lustrous blackish-brown glaze finely streaked with russet 'hare's fur' markings flowing from the russet band below the rim, all stopping short of the unglazed foot. Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279), height c. 5.5, diameter c. 10 cm.
PROVENANCE: A private collection from Southern Sweden. Purchased during the second half of the 20th century.
