Shaped as horses with vases (candle holders) on their backs, in mirror image standing four square, glazed in yellow, green, blue and aubergine-brown, Kangxi period (1662-1722), length c. 20 cm.
PROVENANCE:
The collection of the managing director Ivan Traugott (1871-1957), and thence by descent.
LITERATURE:
In the hand written inventory list of Ivan Traugott's possessions. Lot 745 a and b, purchased by Traugott in Berlin, May 1917. Both horses marked with labels.
