The stem cup is decorated with a stylized dragon band and banana leaves descending down the spreading foot. The censer painted with two dragons contesting a flaming pearl, Qing dynasty, 18/19th century, height c. 9.5, 12.5 cm.
PROVENANCE:
Purchased by the present owners aunt, Inkeri Langinkoski (1907-1985) when she was working at the Finnish Embassy in Beijing, during the 1960s.
